Hammer Down Motorsports is a family run operation. We are into all sorts of motorsports, but primarily we are competive garden tractor pullers. We have been involved in pulling for nearly 17 years. We started out with antique tractors, moved to pickup trucks, and now rock the little ground pounders.
This year at HDM, some things are changing. Vic is going to keep driving the MUDMAKER, along with pulling double duty pulling his twin. That's right, the kid is stepping up to play with the bigger hp tractors. We put him on Dad's twin at the last pull of the year last year, and he said "oh yeah I am pulling this next year". What a kid.
My twin is pretty much unchanged, a couple of much needed replacement parts, and some cosmetic changes. Not much, just stuff I have wanted to do for a while. Chris will of course be piloting his open single (he needs to name that thing).
I also want to take more pictures and video this year. If funds permit, I hope to pic up a laptop so I can file the pictures the say day of the pulls. I will try my best to take as many photos as I can. If you see me at the pulls, and want a pic, let me know.
We have a pulling track, sled, and wobble wagon that we use to test and tune our tractors with. We pull with clubs in the Northeast and Central Ohio areas, along with Western Pennsylvania.
